The features highlighted in the above video are as follows (as well as some that didn't make it into the video):
- Added knife hostage animation (replaces choke when using knife)
- Added throat cut (press attack during knife hostage)
- Added one-handed body drag when wielding weapon
- Initial sticking and cutting for thrown sharp weapons
- Sharp weapons check sharpness maps for collision type
- Weapon-throw AI leads moving targets, calculates arc and number of spins needed

Art Asset Overview #27
I have been working on some levels for Overgrowth (which you can preorder here), as well as some new huts for a rabbit village set. I think these rabbit hut models will get a lot of use, so I worked hard on making sure they looked the way I wanted them to. I have a lot of ideas already on how to expand the set, with a bunch of unique front doors and cool furniture props.

Since the level is inspired by the Lugaru challenge levels, it is pretty simple, but still a lot larger. The idea I had is that the player should have about 3 challenging things to do in this sort of level, so in this one you have two fight set-ups, and the option between two platforming style challenges.
Hopefully I will get this level released soon, because I am interested to get feedback on it!

- added basic knife throw auto-targeting and controls
- added knife throw animation
- getting hit cancels knife attack
- knife attack faces towards target even when running
- fixed bug with mirrored knife slashes
- fixed problem with choke animation when holding a weapon
- added blunt item-character collisions
- added support for multiple detail object layers
- added support for solid detail objects
- added wood/metal material lines for all weapons
- thrower velocity affects throw force
- throwing weapons in air pushes thrower back

Art Asset Overview #26
I have been working on a few different things for Overgrowth (which you can preorder here) as I try to work out some of the smaller level design and character creation details. One of the more interesting things I have been doing is remaking Lugaru levels for Ovegrowth so we can better identify anything missing from the Overgrowth core gameplay.

I am really happy with how the levels are turning out, and I am looking forward to elaborating on some of the lessons I learned in the future.
